Innovation in AR/VR Technologies with AsiaRV and TAPiO Management Advisory
TAPiO Management Advisory in collaboration with AsiaRV proudly participated in the Deutscher Brand Summit 2024, held at the Melaka International Trade Center. This event marked a significant step forward in fostering collaborations between Malaysia and Germany, particularly within the automotive and technical education sectors. Distinguished guests at the summit included the Honourable Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, Minister of Economic Affairs, Labour, and Tourism for Baden-Württemberg, and the Chief Minister of Melaka, YAB Datuk Seri Utama Ab. Rauf bin Yusoh, who joined numerous other high-profile dignitaries and leaders.

Advancing Malaysia’s Automotive and Technical Education Sectors

In a momentous commitment to the Malaysian automotive sector and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), the German-Malaysian Institute (GMI) formalised two landmark agreements during the summit. A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed with Melaka Corporation (MCorp) and a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Volkswagen Malaysia. These agreements, witnessed by a distinguished delegation including MARA Chairman YBhg. Datuk Wira Dr. Asyraf Wajdi bin Dato’ Dusuki, Deputy Executive Council Member YBhg. Datuk Khaidhirah binti Datuk Seri Abu Zahar, and Speaker of the Melaka State Legislative Assembly YBhg. Datuk Wira Hj. Ibrahim bin Durum, signal a promising new era of strategic partnerships and industry-driven training.

MCorp Partnership: Building Foundations for the Future

The MOU with MCorp lays the groundwork for a strong collaborative relationship, focusing on establishing a One-Stop Training Centre within the upcoming German Technology Park (GTP) in Melaka. This initiative will provide GMI students with access to cutting-edge training and industry insights, bridging the gap between academic knowledge and real-world application. With this collaborative framework, both GMI and MCorp envision a future where students are better prepared to meet the dynamic demands of Malaysia’s evolving industries.

Volkswagen Partnership: Hands-On Training for Tomorrow’s Workforce

The agreement with Volkswagen Malaysia expands opportunities for GMI students to engage in hands-on industrial training within the automotive sector. This collaboration ensures that students gain vital, industry-aligned skills, enhancing their readiness for successful careers in the automotive field. With the support of industry leaders like Volkswagen, GMI is committed to aligning TVET programmes with current and future industry needs, creating a more robust and skilled workforce.
