Farewell Dinner at the Malaysian Petroleum Club Concludes WEC Discovery Mission in Malaysia



The WEC Discovery Delegation to Malaysia concluded its inspiring journey with a prestigious farewell dinner on Friday, 9 May 2025, hosted at the exclusive Malaysian Petroleum Club (MPC) within the iconic PETRONAS Twin Towers. The evening concluded an intensive programme of high-level engagements and cultural experiences across Malaysia.
The evening began with a private visit to the PETRONAS Skybridge. This architectural marvel offered guests panoramic views of Kuala Lumpur’s skyline and a symbolic perspective on the bridges built throughout the delegation’s visit. A warm networking session followed this in the elegant surroundings of the Malaysian Petroleum Club, where discussions and reflections flowed freely among distinguished guests and WEC delegates.
Dinner was served in a setting befitting the occasion, surrounded by industry leaders, senior government officials, and esteemed academics. The Malaysian Petroleum Club, known for its refined ambience and membership of top-tier decision-makers, provided an ideal backdrop to celebrate the friendships and partnerships formed during the mission.

As the evening drew to a close, Mr. Peter Nussbaum, Chairman of the World Economic Council, reflected on the delegation’s journey, stating:
