Information about cookies and similar technologies used or enabled on TAPiO Management Advisory’s website, including the technologies identified in our latest production website scan.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small files or identifiers stored or accessed on a device when a website is used. Similar technologies may include local storage, pixels, tags, software development kits and other mechanisms that remember information or measure website activity.
This Cookie Notice explains how TAPiO Management Advisory Sdn. Bhd. uses or may use these technologies on www.tapio.my.
2. Categories of technologies we may use
Strictly necessary
Technologies required for core website operation, security, load balancing, form submission, fraud prevention or saving privacy choices. These are used only to the extent necessary for the requested service.
Preferences and functionality
Technologies that remember optional choices or improve non-essential functionality, such as language or display preferences.
Analytics and performance
Technologies that help us understand website use, page performance, visitor flows and aggregate engagement so that we can improve the Website.
Marketing and external media
Technologies used by advertising, social-media, video or other external-content providers to measure engagement, personalise content or link activity across services.
Not every category is necessarily active at all times. The technologies actually in use depend on the Website features and services enabled by TAPiO.
3. Consent and preference management
Strictly necessary technologies may operate automatically where they are required to provide, secure or correctly deliver the Website. Analytics and marketing technologies are not treated as strictly necessary merely because they use first-party cookies.
Where applicable law requires prior consent, non-essential analytics and marketing technologies must not be activated until the relevant consent has been obtained. Where a Cookie Settings control is available, you can use it to accept or refuse optional categories and to change your choice later. Refusing optional technologies should not prevent access to the core Website, although some optional features or embedded content may not function.
4. Third-party and embedded services
The Website may load scripts, tags or other resources supplied by external service providers. A cookie can still be a first-party cookie when it is stored under the tapio.my domain, even where the technology that causes it to be set is supplied by an external provider.
Our production scan identified technologies associated with Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel, Matomo/Piwik analytics and LiteSpeed Cache. It also identified external requests associated with Google, Meta and a Matomo/Piwik analytics script served from clients.dmini.com.
Third-party providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices. Where consent is required, non-essential external analytics, advertising or tracking technologies should be blocked until the relevant choice is made.

The following cookies were detected on www.tapio.my in a production website scan performed on 17 August 2026. Cookie lifetimes can be affected by browser rules and may change when Website plugins, analytics settings or external services are updated.

The Website may also use local browser storage, pixels, tags and similar technologies. These are governed by the same principles described in this Notice and are reviewed when the Website’s technology configuration changes.
6. Browser and device controls
Most browsers allow you to view, delete or block cookies through browser settings. Blocking all cookies may affect Website functionality. Browser controls operate separately from a Website consent tool and may not control every form of local storage or embedded-service technology.
7. Personal data and international transfers
Where cookie or analytics information constitutes personal data, we handle it in accordance with our Privacy & Data Protection Notice. Some service providers may process information outside Malaysia. Where international-transfer safeguards are legally required, we take reasonable steps to apply them.
8. Changes to this Cookie Notice
We may update this Notice when Website technologies, vendors or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
