What You Will Do:
As a Lead Research Analyst, you will dive deep into economic landscapes, gathering vital data from diverse industries to empower our clients, mainly European exporters exploring Malaysian opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough market research for various sectors within Malaysia and the RCEP region, leveraging both secondary published resources and direct interactions with key stakeholders like trade associations and governmental agencies.
• Deliver accurate data on market dynamics: size, segmentation, shares, key players, and predictive trends.
• Mentor and quality-check research outputs from junior team members.
• Seamlessly integrate collected data into our report templates, ensuring top-notch quality validated reports.
• Innovate and refine our research process, from sourcing to the presentation.
• Offer insightful opinions on market trends and dynamics.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with our research sources.
• Collaborate with our diverse junior teams, sharing best practices and research methodologies.

The ideal candidate should:

• Possesses robust analytical skills.
• Be proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Have an in-depth knowledge of Malaysia and its market dynamics.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills, both online and over the phone.
• Be adept at using Excel and Word.
• Exhibit a passion for desk and telephone research.

Basic Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in market research projects.
• A solid understanding of research methodologies.
• Innovative thinking combined with problem-solving expertise.
• Organisational acumen and project management proficiency.
• A data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Ability to excel in teamwork and spearhead projects individually.
